Mango Habanero Pork Chops w/Green Rice

  1. cut up mangos and cut stem off the habanero pepper and take seeds out (use more peppers if you want it spicier) add italian spices and garlic powder and blend (add some water if it's too thick)
  2. put chops in a container or big ziploc bag and add the mango blend, seal it and marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour
  3. (I used two 12" pans) heat at medium low, take out marinated chops, place them on pans for 15 min or until they have a nice brown sear (cover pans but not completely) turn for 15 more min.
  4. uncover for last 5 min and you're done
  5. for the rice; blend the cilantro, garlic, butter and olive oil with the amount of water you need for your rice, in this case it was about 2 1/2 cups (I used a rice cooker)

pepper, mangos, italian seasoning, garlic, pork loin chops, rice, fresh cilantro, garlic, butter, olive oil
