Barb's Family Green Bean Casserole Recipe
- 1 can Cream Of Mushroom With Roasted Garlic Soup (10 3/4 ounce.)
- 1 pkt Cream Cheese (3 ounce.) softened
- 3 can French Style Green Beans (14.5 ounce. ea.) liquid removed
- 1 can Water Chestnuts (8 ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 x clove Garlic chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Onions finely minced
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1 1/2 c. Cheddar Cheese (6 ounce.) shredded can use Velveeta
- 1 pkt Slivered Almonds (2 ounce.) slightly toasted
- Combine soup and cream cheese in a large saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till cream cheese melts.
- Remove from heat; stir in green beans, water chestnuts, garlic, onions, salt, pepper, and cheese.
- Spoon mix into lightly greased 1 3/4 qt casserole dish; top with almonds.
- Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 min.
