Sweet & Sour Chicken Meatballs
- 1 recipe Easy Basic Meatballs
- 2 tsp. oil
- 1 each red and yellow pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. minced gingerroot
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Classic CATALINA Dressing
- 1/2 cup BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce
- 1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks in juice, undrained
- 2 green onions, cut into 1-inch lengths
- Prepare and bake Basic Meatballs as directed, substituting ground chicken for the ground beef and increasing the baking time to 13 to 14 min.
- or until meatballs are done (165 degrees F).
- Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium heat.
- Add peppers; cook and stir 4 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in garlic and ginger; cook 1 min., stirring frequently.
- Add dressing, barbecue sauce and pineapple; mix well.
- Bring just to boil, stirring frequently.
- Add meatballs; cook 1 to 2 min.
- or until heated through, stirring frequently.
- Top with onions.
