Rib end piece roast and rice
- 2 lb rib end piece roast bone in
- 3 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup long grain rice
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp sazon seasoning, or two envelopes
- 1/3 tsp ground sage
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 4 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 cup water
- In an oven safe dish add roast.
- Bone side down.
- Pour rice around the roast.
- Add water and spices over the roast and water.
- Add butter.
- Put in oven, then turn oven on 450 Fahrenheit.
- Roast it for one hour.
- After you cooked it add 1 cup of water cover let sit 15 minutes
