Dipping Sauce for Lumpia
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. tapioca starch
- 2 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. minced ginger
- In a 2-quart pan mix sugar and vinegar and soy sauce.
- Stir over high heat until sugar dissolves.
- Mix tapioca starch with water; add to sugar mixture and stir sauce until it boils.
- Remove from heat.
- Add 2 tbsp.
- fresh minced ginger.
