Dipping Sauce for Lumpia

  1. In a 2-quart pan mix sugar and vinegar and soy sauce.
  2. Stir over high heat until sugar dissolves.
  3. Mix tapioca starch with water; add to sugar mixture and stir sauce until it boils.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add 2 tbsp.
  6. fresh minced ginger.
