Brandied Sugar Syrup Recipe

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine sugar, the water, and clove.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer 10 min, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in brandy, and cold to room temperature.
  5. Serving Ideas : Pour over Baked Halvah
