4/2 - Round Steak Bake

  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan.
  3. Add steak cut in serving size pieces.
  4. Brown both sides.
  5. Transfer to ungreased 2-quart casserole.
  6. Add potatoes, carrots, and onion.
  7. Combine soup, water, salt, pepper, and Gravy Master.
  8. Pour over ingredients in casserole.
  9. Cover the casserole.
  10. Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours; until beef is tender.
  11. VARIATION:.
  12. Sprinkle a drained can of string beans over all, cover and bake an extra 10 minutes to heat them through.
