Amaretto Wreath Pie Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. vanilla wafer cookie crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. amaretto
- 1/4 c. butter melted
- 2 pkt pistachio instant pudding
- 3 c. half & half
- 1/3 c. amaretto
- 20 ounce crushed pineapple liquid removed
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla crushed almonds or possibly pistachio
- *Drain pineapple.
- In a bowl, mix cookie crumbs, amaretto and butter.
- Press mix firmly into an ungreased 9" pie plate.
- In a bowl, combine pudding mix and 1/2 & 1/2 till smooth.
- Gradually beat in Amaretto.
- Mix in pineapple.
- Turn mix into pie plate.
- Refrigeratetill thick.
- When ready to serve, whip cream with sugar and vanilla till thick.
- Spoon cream around outter edge of pie.
- Sprinkle with crushed nuts.
- Pamphlet.
