Peanut Butter and Jelly Brownies
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Kraft Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup non-hydrogenated margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup Kraft Pure Strawberry Jam
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Line 9-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray.
- Beat sugar, peanut butter and margarine in large bowl with mixer until blended.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Add flour and salt; beat until blended.
- Stir in chocolate and nuts.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Top with spoonfuls of jam; swirl lightly with knife.
- Bake 40 to 45 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out with fudgy crumbs.
- (Do not overbake.)
- Cool completely.
- Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting to serve.
