Beet Meat Borscht Recipe

  1. Clean and cube beets.
  2. Put in blender half full with water.
  3. Grate.
  4. Save water for soup.
  5. Put flanken in pot with onions and salt.
  6. When boiled skim off foam.
  7. Add in the beets; cover and cook for about 2- 1/2 hrs.
  8. Add in cloves of garlic, sugar, juice of lemons and cook for another 15 min.
