Bengali Chicken Curry Recipe
- 1 x Chicken, cut-up
- 2 x Onions, sliced
- 2 x Bay leaves
- 1 stk Cinnamon
- 4 x Cloves
- 1 lrg Tomato, minced
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Salt
- 1 dsh Chili pwdr
- 1.
- Marinate the chicken in salt.
- turmeric, chilli pwdr and 2 Tbsp.
- of oil, for an hour.
- 2.
- Heat oil in a big vessel, now add in the bay leaves, cloves and cinnamon.
- Then add in the sliced onions and fry until golden brown.
- 3.
- Add in the marinated chicken and fry on high heat for 2 mins.
- 4.
- Reduce the heat, cover the vessel and cook for 5 to 6 min.
- 5.
- Now add in the minced tomato, cover again and cook until done.
