Cheesy Garlic Noodles with Chicken and Broccoli
- 1 cup Broccoli Florets
- 2 whole Chicken Breasts, Cooked-Cubed Or Shredded
- 1 pound Pasta, Any Small Shape Will Work
- 3 cups Milk
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 1/4 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 3/4 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- 1/4 cups Parmesan Cheese For Garnish
- You want to make sure to have everything ready before starting your noodles.
- The noodles take constant attention and it all comes together very quickly so you need to get everything ready beforehand.
- Take your broccoli and steam in the microwave until soft.
- To do this, place in a bowl with 2 Tablespoons of water and cover with plastic wrap.
- It should take only a few minutes.
- Have both your shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese and shredded and cooked chicken out and ready as well.
- If you dont have cooked chicken on hand, bake chicken in the oven at 350F for approximately 30 minutes, until juices run clear.
- Next we will start the noodles.
- Put your noodles, milk, butter, salt, pepper, and garlic in a large pan and turn on high to bring to a boil.
- You will want to stir this often.
- Once it starts to boil, turn the heat down to low to simmer.
- Stir constantly from this point.
- Once the milk starts to boil, your sauce will thicken considerably.
- Once your noodles are to the softness you like (refer to your package instructions for the precise timing), pull the pot off the burner.
- Then add in your heavy whipping cream, cheddar cheese and cream cheese.
- Stir until all combined.
- Then add the broccoli and chicken and stir.
- Garnish with shredded parmesan cheese.
