Macrobiotic Kimpira-style Quick Stir-fry with Konnyaku and Burdock Roots

  1. Thickly julienne the burdock root.
  2. Slice the konnyaku into bite sizes.
  3. Shave or thickly julienne the carrot.
  4. Stir-fry the konnyaku first.
  5. Fry until the spattering settles.
  6. Add 2 teaspoons of soy sauce (not listed in the ingredients) to flavour them.
  7. Add the burdock root and carrot and stir-fry well.
  8. After all the vegetables become tender, add water to cover the vegetables.
  9. Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and cook until all the liquid has evaporated.
