Stuffed Bell Peppers Ala Frey

  1. Wash peppers.
  2. Cut them in half at the stem.
  3. Clean the seeds and membrane from then and place them in a 9x13 pan.
  4. Wash the zucchini and cut them into quarters and finely slice them.
  5. Heat the oil in a large skillet.
  6. Saute the zucchini, mushrooms, celery, zucchini, onion and garlic until the vegetables are softened.
  7. Set aside and cool.
  8. While vegetables are cooling, mix well the ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, garlic granules, paprika, salt and pepper.
  9. When veggies are cool, mix into the ground beef mixture.
  10. Evenly distribute the beef amongst the pepper halves in the pan.
  11. Pour Sauce over all.
  12. Cover pan with foil.
  13. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
  14. Check to see if peppers are done to your desire tenderness.
  15. If not continue cooking uncovered until the peppers are done.
