Mostly Brown Sugar Cookies

  1. Preheat to 375F.
  2. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
  3. Cream the butter and both sugars with an electric mixer.
  4. Add the egg, yolk, milk and vanilla and mix well.
  5. Add sifted flour mixture until thoroughly combined and dough forms.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons full onto parchment paper (rounded teaspoons for small cookies).
  7. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  8. Let cool on baking sheet for 1-2 minutes and remove to cooling rack.
