Cheese Scalloped Carrots

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Cook carrots and set aside.
  3. Gently cook onion
  4. in
  5. the butter for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in flour, salt, mustard
  7. and
  8. then milk.
  9. Cook, stirring, until smooth. Add pepper and celery salt.
  10. In a buttered, 2 quart casserole, arrange a layer of carrots and then a layer of cheese.
  11. Repeat until both are used.
  12. Pour on sauce and top with bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes or until golden.
  13. Serves 8 people.
