Easy Cocoa Butter Cookies

  1. Mix the softened butter that has been brought to room temperature, and sugar.
  2. Mix until the mixture turns white.
  3. Add the egg yolk .
  4. Combine well.
  5. Sift the flour and cocoa into the bowl.
  6. Fold in the flour and cocoa with a wooden spatula until the mixture comes together.
  7. The mixture will gradually come together forming into a dough, so keep on folding in the ingredients with a wooden spatula.
  8. Wrap the dough with plastic wrap, and let it sit in the fridge for 30 - 60 minutes.
  9. If you like, coat the surface with granulated sugar.
  10. Slice into your preferred thickness.
  11. Bake at 170C for 20 - 25 minutes.
