TEQUILA SHRIMPS
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 garlic cloves chopped
- 700 grams clean and peeled shrimps
- 4 tbsp tequila
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 lemon cut in 4
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3 minutes.
- Add the tequila and season with salt and chili powder.
- Simmer until the liquid has evaporated, about 3 minutes.
- Place shrimp on a plate and garnish with cilantro.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
