Warm and Comforting Pumpkin Bread
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 23 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl combine pumpkin, eggs, and oil.
- Add dry ingredients to pumpkin egg mixture slowly while mixing on a medium speed.
- Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray and once batter is smooth, pour into bundt pan.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes - or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
- **Alteration**.
- If you would like, this recipe makes amazing cream cheese, pumpkin muffins!
- Line muffin tins with baking cup papers.
- Spoon a small amount of batter into cup.
- Cut a small amount of cream cheese off a brick (or spoon from a container) and place onto the batter then spoon more batter on top until the cream cheese is covered.
- Bake at 350 for 18 - 25 minutes.
