Chicken 'N Ziti Recipe

  1. In 12-inch skillet, over medium heat, saute/fry onions and garlic in oil for 8 to 10 min or possibly till onions are tender.
  2. Add in mushrooms and parsley, saute/fry for 2 min.
  3. Add in soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, basil, oregano, and pepper, stirring till cream cheese melts.
  4. Stir in chicken and cottage cheese till well mixed.
  5. In a 3-qt oblong baking dish, layer half of the ziti, half of the sauce, all of the Cheddar cheese, remaining ziti and remaining sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.
  7. If baking ahead, cover and chill up to 24 hrs.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees in a preheated oven for 30 to 40 min or possibly till bubbly and heated through.
