Cake in a mug recipe

• 2 tbsp self-raising flour (not heaped or level but in between)
• 2 tbsp caster sugar
• 1 tbsp cocoa
• 1 tsp instant coffee powder
• 1 small egg
• 1 tbsp milk
• 1 tbsp sunflower oil
• 1 cup chocolate buttons

1. Grab a large mug.
2. Spoon dry ingredients into the mug and mix well.
3. Crack in the egg and whisk with a fork to combine.
4. Drizzle in the milk and oil and stir.
5. Drop in a few chocolate buttons.
6. Cook in a microwave for 2 1/2 minutes on full power.
7. Leave to rest for 1 minute then eat sprinkled with icing sugar, or with lashings of cream or ice cream.
