Slow Cooker Caper Chicken
- 6 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1/4 cups Lemon Juice
- Fresh Ground Pepper
- 3 dashes Your Favorite Seasoning I Use What Ever Strikes Me Or Is Closest At The Moment I Really Like Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning.
- 1/4 cups Melted Butter
- 1/4 cups Your Favorite Steak Sauce (I Use HP Brand Sauce It Is An English Sauce)
- 2 Tablespoons Capers In Brine - More Or Less To Taste
- Place the chicken breasts in slow cooker and stab each a few times with a knife.
- Pour lemon juice over the top, then sprinkle on the fresh ground pepper and your favorite seasoning mixture or Cavenders All Purpose Greek Seasoning if you have it.
- In a separate bowl melt the butter and mix in the steak sauce and the capers.
- (You want to include some of the caper brine it smells funny but adds great flavor).
- Pour this over the chicken breasts and cook for 4-6 hours on low.
- Serve over rice, egg noodles or our familys favorite choice mashed potatoes.
