Crock Pot Lentil Curry
- 2 cups lentils, green
- 1 cup lentils, red (masoor dal)
- 4 each potatoes red, washed, chopped
- 1/2 cup pearl barley
- 2 each onions chopped
- 4 each garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons curry powder or more, to taste
- 1 teaspoon chinese five spice powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, tamari
- 2 cups cabbage
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 4 cups basmati rice or regular, cooked
- Put all ingredients except rice into the crockpot.
- Stir well to mix thoroughly.
- Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours.
- Serve with rice.
