Chicken Stuff

  1. Cook a fryer and after it is cooled, cut in bite-sized pieces.
  2. Dice 4 stalks of celery and boil in 2 cups of water until tender.
  3. Remove the celery and put in the baking dish with the cut-up chicken; reserve the celery water.
  4. Add a jar of mushrooms and pimentos, drained, to the baking dish with the chicken and celery.
  5. Melt 3 TBL.
  6. of butter in a saucepan.
  7. Add about 1/4 cup of flour and cook for 2 minutes, then slowly add the celery water to make a gravy.
  8. Pour this over the chicken and veggies and mix; add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Crush 1/2 package of saltines, sprinkle on top, then add a few pats of butter.
  10. Bake at 350F until hot.
