Caramel-Pear Crisp

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Mix oats and sugar in medium bowl.
  3. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in wafer crumbs.
  5. Place pears in 1.5-L casserole dish; top with crumb mixture.
  6. Bake 35 to 40 min.
  7. or until pears are tender and topping is golden brown.
  8. Cool 15 min.
  9. Meanwhile, microwave caramels and milk in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 1-1/2 min.
  10. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after 1 min.
  11. Drizzle caramel sauce over dessert just before serving; top with Cool Whip.
