Sour Cream Pound Cake
- 1 stick butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. sifted flour (all-purpose)
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. orange flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
- Cream butter
- and
- sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well
- after
- each
- addition.
- Add
- flour,
- reserving
- 2 tablespoons.
- Add sour cream and mix well.
- Add flavorings and reserved flour
- with baking soda.
- Bake in greased and floured tube pan
- at
- 325u0b0 (preheated oven) for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Start testing
- for
- doneness
- at
- 1 hour and 10 minutes, using toothpick in center of cake.
