Pecan Pie Southern Style Recipe
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust
- 1 1/4 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 4 tbsp. butter
- Boil Karo, brown sugar, and butter; then cold.
- Line pie crust with pecans forming a round circle.
- Break 4 Large eggs; pour over above mix, after cooled, into beaten Large eggs.
- Add in to mix 2 1/2 c. pecans and 1 tsp.
- vanilla.
- Bake at 350 degrees 45 min.
