Boysenberry Cinnamon Applesauce Recipe
- 1 pkt (10 ounce.) thawed red Boysenberries
- 3 x Cinnamon sticks
- 4 lb Cooking apples, peeled/coarsely chop Sugar, (optional)
- Place Boysenberries, cinnamon and apples in heavy pan.
- Bring mix to boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover.
- Simmer 15-20 min till tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in sugar to taste, if you like.
- Remove cinnamon sticks.
- Serve hot or possibly chill.
- Makes 6 c.. Great with pork and a great way to use all those Fall apples.
