Hot Chili
- 12 cup barbecue sauce
- 16 ounces hot salsa
- 14 cup chili powder
- 12 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 jalapenos
- 2 chili peppers, pods
- 2 tablespoons sirachi chili sauce
- 14 cup Splenda sugar substitute or 14 cup sugar
- 1 lb ground meat
- 1 lb beans
- grind chili dry seasoning with 4 jalapenos.
- combine ground meat with dry seasonings and hot sauce and set aside for 1 hour.
- You can smoke the meat on a grill with mesquite and then add for a more smokey flavor.
- Cook meat until browned, drain and add barbeque sauce, caramelizing the sauce.
- add tomatoes, remaining jalapenos, pepper pods and simmer.
- for more intense flavor you can puree the peppers with the meat and tomatoes and then simmer to blend all flavors.
- add liquid to make solution and simmer with beans for 30 minutes, taste and add sweetener accordingly.
- For best results, keep recipe with plenty of liquid for tomatoes and spices to dissolve and cook on lower heat for longer times to get a more full bodied dish.
