Broccoli Bake

• 1 bunch broccoli
• 1/4 c. water
• 1/4 c. chopped green onion
• 1 Tbsp. butter
• 3 oz. cream cheese
• 1 can mushroom soup
• 1/2 tsp. lemon peel, grated
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/8 tsp. pepper
• 1/8 tsp. paprika

1. Combine broccoli and water in a 2-quart casserole.
2. Cover; microwave 7 to 9 minutes on High.
3. Drain and arrange in an 8 x 8-inch microwave dish.
4. Microwave in small dish for 1 to 2 minutes on High the onions and butter.
5. Place the cream cheese in the onion and butter mixture.
6. Microwave 30 to 60 seconds.
7. Stir into this the soup, lemon peel, salt and pepper.
8. Pour this sauce over the broccoli; sprinkle with paprika.
9. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave for 5 to 7 minutes on Full power.
10. Rotate dish halfway through.
11. Serves 4 to 6.
