Marinated Cole Slaw Recipe
- 1 med. cabbage, shredded
- 1 bell pepper, minced
- 1 red pepper, minced
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. white vinegar
- 3/4 c. Crisco oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 med. onion, minced
- Combine cabbage, red pepper, green pepper and onions; set aside.
- Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and turmeric and boil for 1 minute.
- Pour over cabbage.
- Keep refrigerated.
- Best if made at least a day before serving, or chilled.
