Mom's Chili
- 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
- 1 can hormel chili, in a can
- 1 package spaghetti, mix
- 1 (16 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- salt and pepper
- lawerys salt
- 1 lb ground beef
- Brown the meat, add couple dashes of onion powder, and lawerys salt to meat when browning,.
- In a Blender, add can of whole tomatoes and liquefy,.
- In a large pot, add all ingredients, stir,.
- Simmer on medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes, or until hot.
- ** For bean-less chili use Hormel No Bean Chili, and exclude the 16oz can of dark red kidney beans.
