Sauteed Vegetable and Bacon Cheesy Pasta
- 250g dried pasta (e.g. spirals)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 short rindless rashers bacon, sliced Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 yellow capsicum, sliced
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 4cm lengths
- 1 cup KRAFT Cheese Vegie Pourover
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water according to pack directions; drain.
- Heat half the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add bacon and cook until crisp, remove and cover.
- Heat remaining oil in pan; add vegetables and saute 5-8 minutes, until tender and lightly browned.
- Return pasta to saucepan along vegetables and combined Vegie Pourover, milk and seasoning.
- Stir until well combined and heated through.
- Serve pasta topped with crispy bacon.
