Smart-Choice Creamy Chicken Pasta
- 1/2 lb. whole wheat fettuccine, uncooked
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese
- 1 cup fat-free milk
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Reduced Fat Parmesan Style Grated Topping
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 cup tightly packed fresh spinach
- 1 small red pepper, chopped
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, cook chicken in hot oil in large skillet on medium-high heat 5 to 7 min.
- or until done.
- Add cream cheese, milk, grated topping and nutmeg; cook and stir 5 min.
- or until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended.
- Stir in spinach and peppers; cook and stir 3 to 5 min.
- or until heated through.
- Drain pasta; place on serving plate.
- Top with chicken mixture.
