Skillet Beef Stew Recipe
- 1/2 c. reduced calorie salad dressing with no cholesterol
- 3/4 pound sirloin or possibly round steak, cubed
- 2 c. peeled, cubed potatoes
- 4 carrots, sliced into 1/2 inch pcs
- 1 sm. onion, quartered
- 1 c. water
- 1.2 ounce. pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 teaspoon basil leaves
- In 10 inch skillet, stir together salad dressing, beef and vegetables.
- Cook and stir over medium heat 5 min.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cover.
- Reduce heat; simmer 25 to 30 min or possibly till vegetables are tender.
- Serves 4 to 6.
- Preparation time: 20 min.
- Cooking time: 33 min.
