Spicy Walnut Camels

  1. Combine butter, sugar and brown sugar in bowl.
  2. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  3. Add egg; continue beating until well mixed.
  4. Add flour, cinnamon, baking powder, nutmeg, baking soda and cloves; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Stir in ground walnuts.
  6. Divide dough in half; wrap each half in plastic food wrap.
  7. Refrigerate at least 1 hour until firm.
  8. Heat oven to 325F.
  9. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface, one-half at a time (keeping remaining dough refrigerated), to 1/8-inch thickness.
  10. Cut with 3- to 3 1/2-inch camel cookie cutter.
  11. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  12. Decorate with decorator sugar and decorator candies.
  13. Bake 9-11 minutes or until set.
