Three Cheese Pasta
- 1/2 qt. pasta
- 1/8 qt. margarine
- 1/8 qt. flour
- 3/8 qt. milk
- 1/8 qt. salt
- 1/8 qt. pepper
- 1/8 qt. sugar
- 1/4 qt. mozzarella
- monterey jack cheese, grated
- 1/4 qt. cottage cheese
- 3/8 qt. cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 qt. bread
- cracker crumbs
- 1/8 qt. margarine, melted
- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling, salted water.
- Drain and place in a large bowl.
- Melt 50ml margarine over medium heat, and stir in flour.
- Remove from heat and slowly whisk in milk.
- Return to medium heat, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Add salt, sugar, 250ml cheddar, and 250ml mozzarella to sauce, and stir until melted.
- Mix cottage cheese into sauce and add pasta, stir to combine, and place in a greased casserole dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together 30ml melted margarine and the bread crumbs with 125ml cheddar cheese, use to top casserole.
- Bake in a 350F oven for 45 to 60 minutes.
