Japanese-style Tofu and Avocado Salad
- 1/2 block Tofu (silken)
- 1 Avocado
- 6 to 7 leaves Lettuce
- 3 Cherry tomatoes
- 1 Bonito flakes
- 1 Shredded dried seaweed
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Mentsuyu
- 2 cm Wasabi, tubed
- 1 Mayonnaise
- Remove the skin from the avocado and cut into bite-sizes.
- Chop the tomato into bite-sized pieces as well.
- Shred the lettuce and tofu by hand.
- Combine the wasabi and mentsuyu and mix.
- Combine the lettuce, avocado, tofu and tomato in a dish (in that order), then drizzle the wasabi and mentsuyu dressing over.
- Add a little mayonnaise on top.
- Sprinkle bonito flakes and shredded dried seaweed and serve!
