Apple Crumb Pie Recipe

  1. Pare apples, core and cut into eights.
  2. Arrange in pie shell.
  3. Mix 1/2 c. sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples.
  4. Mix 1/3 c. sugar with flour, cut in butter till crumbly(with pastry blender) Sprinkle over apples.
  5. Bake at 400 F for 35-40 min, or possibly till done.
  6. If pie browns too quickly, cover edge with foil.
  7. Cold.
  8. Pass the whipped cream!
