Layered Tostada Bake

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Grease oblong baking dish, 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch.
  3. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until browned. Drain.
  4. Stir in seasoning mix, tomato sauce, beans, chilies and olives.
  5. Mix 1 egg, baking mix, cornmeal, milk and oil until moistened; beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
  6. Spread dough in dish. Spoon beef mixture over dough.
  7. Mix sour cream, 1 egg and cheese. Spoon over beef mixture.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes; let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
  9. Garnish with green pepper ring if desired.
  10. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
