Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions.
  2. In saucepan, melt butter.
  3. Stir in flour and cook 3-4 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  5. Add salt.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in cheese until melted.
  8. Pour over cooked macaroni.
  9. Toss to coat.
  10. Serve immediately.
