Bison Burger
- 1 pound Ground Bison
- 1 whole Egg
- 2 sprigs Thyme
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 4 whole Split Hamburger Buns
- Optional Garnishes: Lettuce, Tomato And Onion Slices, Etc
- 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 whole Onion, Sliced
- 4 Tablespoons White Wine
- In a sauce pan over medium heat melt the butter for the onions.
- Add the onions and saute for about 3-4 minutes then add the white wine.
- Cook on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally
- While the onions are cooking add all of the burger ingredients (except the buns and garnish) into a large bowl.
- Combine the mixture with your hands and form 4 round individual patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook patties.
- Cook for about 4-6 minutes on one side and then flip and cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.
- Check the temperature of your meat to determine the timing for how you want the burger cooked.
- When meat is done top a bun with lettuce, tomato, meat and onions.
