Bison Burger

  1. In a sauce pan over medium heat melt the butter for the onions.
  2. Add the onions and saute for about 3-4 minutes then add the white wine.
  3. Cook on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally
  4. While the onions are cooking add all of the burger ingredients (except the buns and garnish) into a large bowl.
  5. Combine the mixture with your hands and form 4 round individual patties.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook patties.
  7. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on one side and then flip and cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.
  8. Check the temperature of your meat to determine the timing for how you want the burger cooked.
  9. When meat is done top a bun with lettuce, tomato, meat and onions.
