Easy Mushroom And Sausage Risotto
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 3/4 lb. Italian sausage, mild or hot, casing removed
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (10 oz) condensed chicken broth
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- Brown crumbled sausage with mushrooms and onion in oil in medium pot over medium-high heat.
- Stir in broth, rice, oregano and water.
- Bring to boil.
- Cover, simmer over low heat 20 to 25 min.
- Stir in parmesan just before serving.
