Green Beans With Swiss from Steve Brandon

  1. Heat oven to 400.
  2. Melt 2 tbl butter in saucepan.
  3. Add cornflake crumbs, mix set aside.
  4. Melt remaining 2 tbl.
  5. butter stir in flour, salt, pepper, onion and sugar.
  6. Add sour cream.
  7. Stir until smooth.
  8. Increase heat and cook until sauce is bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Fold green beans into sauce.
  11. Spread in greased 10x6x2 baking dish.
  12. Sprinkle cheese over top.
  13. Sprinkle crumb mixture over cheese.
  14. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
