Potato Almond Patties Recipe

  1. Heat water, lowfat milk, and butter to boiling in 2 qt saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in potatoes and onions.
  4. Whip with fork till thick; cold.
  5. Shape mix into 6 patties, each about 3 inches in diameter.
  6. Mix almonds and flour; coat each patty.
  7. Heat 2 Tbsp.
  8. butter and 2 Tbsp.
  9. oil in 10 inch skillet till warm.
  10. Cook potato-almond patties, turning once, till golden and warm, about 3 min on each side.
  11. Serve with lowfat sour cream.
