DonaMaria's Sausage & Cheese Biscuits - Sausage & Cheese Biscuit Appetizers

  1. Crumble sausage into skillet; brown & drain excess oil.
  2. In large bowl, combine biscuit mix and cheese.
  3. Add sausage; stir until blended.
  4. Stir in water until mixed.
  5. Add a few more drops of water if Parmesan cheese is used.
  6. Shape dough into balls about 1.5 inch round.
  7. Or, if biscuits desired (instead of appetizers), roll dough out and cut with biscuit cutter or glass).
  8. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees (200 C.) for about 15 minutes (until golden).
  10. Brush with softened butter or margarine when taken from oven.
  11. TIP: For spicier flavor, add jalapeno cheese & spices.
  12. Also, biscuits can be frozen (after cooking) and reheated at 375 degrees (200 C.) for 6 to 8 minutes.
