chili con pintos
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 cup canned pinto beans drained
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup shredded jack cheese
- 1 tbsp sour cream
- 1 cup instant white rice
- brown ground beef and drain grease
- return to pan and add tomato paste, water, pintos, and all spices
- combine and simmer ten minutes
- let sauce thicken.
- prepare instant rice according to directions on package
- when rice is done, add to beef mixture and combine.
- serve in bowl, add a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with jack chess, enjoy!
