Chewy oat squares

  1. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a small saucepan over a low heat until sugar has dissolved and mixture is smooth.
  2. Combine the oats, fruit medley, almonds and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Add the egg and Philly* mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Press mixture into a lined and greased 18cm x 28cm slice tin and bake at 190C for 20 minutes or until golden.
  5. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
