Crisp & Fluffy Brown Sugar & Soy Milk Rice Flour Donut Holes
- 100 grams Rice flour
- 3 grams Baking powder
- 1 Egg
- 35 grams Brown Cane Sugar (powdered)
- 1 tbsp Unroasted sesame oil (vegetable oil also OK)
- 25 grams Soy milk
- Add the brown sugar to the eggs, and beat until well-combined.
- Drizzle in the unroasted sesame oil and soy milk and mix.
- Add the rice flour and baking powder and mix.
- Heat the frying oil to 180C.
- Fry for 3-3 1/2 minutes.
- Use a spoon to scoop out and drop in the batter.
- If you wash off the spoon after every scooping, it'll be easier to scoop the batter.
- If you scoop it out in a rounded shape, it'll expand nicely.
- You won't get it perfectly round... but just aim for that.
