Crispy in an Oven French Toast
- 3 slice of a 6 loaf bread White bread (or danish bread)
- 40 grams Butter (or margarine)
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
- 4 tbsp Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 1 (Optional: powdered sugar)
- Microwave the butter (or margarine) for a minute to melt.
- Mix in all ingredients.
- Divide each slice of bread into fourths and line up in a flat container.
- Pour in the mixed ingredients from Step 1.
- Flip the bread over midway, and leave for several minutes to soak.
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Line a baking tray with a sheet of parchment paper, and arrange the bread on it.
- Bake for 12 minutes at 200C to finish.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you wish.
