Crispy in an Oven French Toast

  1. Microwave the butter (or margarine) for a minute to melt.
  2. Mix in all ingredients.
  3. Divide each slice of bread into fourths and line up in a flat container.
  4. Pour in the mixed ingredients from Step 1.
  5. Flip the bread over midway, and leave for several minutes to soak.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  7. Line a baking tray with a sheet of parchment paper, and arrange the bread on it.
  8. Bake for 12 minutes at 200C to finish.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you wish.
